Painted Desert was the original
desert-style golf course in Las Vegas, and the contrasts of the desert areas and lush
green fairways lend beauty and challenge to the experience. Painted Desert’s tee
boxes and fairways are separated by native desert vegetation (cactus and mesquite),
several lakes guard the landing areas and greens, and many bunkers dot the course. At the
end of the day, the greens of the grasses and the sunset on the mountains are a beautiful
